Reap the end of Summer's bounty. This nutrient rich, dark plum and chocolate smoothie recipe makes the most of these fleeting stone fruits.  Here's to the end of summer - cheers!

Plum Chocolate Smoothie:

1 dark fleshed plum (ripe or over-ripe), peeled and pitted

1 frozen banana 

1 scoop of protein powder

1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

2 leaves of rainbow chard

1/2 cup + almond milk

1 tsp. maca powder (optional)

1-2 tsp. honey (optional)

Blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth and creamy.  Enjoy the perfect end to summer's stone fruits.
