These therapies are not acupuncture or yoga. They go by the terminology of Integrated Positional Therapy, Qi Gong, mediation, integrative nutrition, and pranayama.

Integrative positional therapy was created by Lee Albert, NMT. This modality is incredibly effective for alleviating or eliminating musculoskeletal pain. Very often musculoskeletal pain is due to muscle imbalance. This approach is based upon the osteopathic techniques of Strain/Counterstrain and Muscle Energy Technique.

Meditation and Qi Gong are amazing practices in terms of pain reduction, improved energy and mental health. Despite their ancient origins, these practices have evolved to gain recognition in modern science as evidence-based medicine. Qi Gong is exceptionally well researched in the areas of vestibular function (improved balance) and has performed statistically significant in double blind placebo controlled studies.

Integrative nutrition is dietary and lifestyle counseling. Food does not have to be complicated or confusing. Michael Pollan said it best, “Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants". I will help you take a look at your habits and create easy, maintainable shifts that will have a real impact in how you look and feel. It might not be easy but you will get results.

Pranayama is breath technique. Breath is perhaps the most underutilized free resource we have. Our breath can regulate heartbeat, calm our mind, relax our musculature, improve respiratory function and stabilize mood. It is so powerful in fact, that it is the fastest way to have a chemical change in our bodies. I will teach you specific techniques that take 5 minutes of daily practice which will have a lifetime of impact.
