Please read prior your appointment

Attire: Please wear loose comfortable clothing such as gym shorts, baggie yoga pants (not yoga tights) and t shirts. Many acupuncture points are easily accessible on the arms, legs, belly and back. If other areas of your body are needed, I may ask you to undress in privacy and you will be fully draped with a sheet.

Time: Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment.

Parking: Parking is generally available on Cohasset Street, Belgrade Avenue, Birch Street, or Corinth Street (most spots are free for 2 hours). Please check the signage and plan for time to park. If mobility is an issue and you need parking directly next to the building, please contact me and we will arrange a parking accommodation.

Entry: Please only enter at the back of the building. (Do not enter through the front door.) You will see a sign for acupuncture on the rear door and it leads directly into the waiting room. You may hang your coat and remove your shoes. I will meet you at the desk.

Face Mask: Please wear a face mask even if you do not feel ill. The waiting room is used for multiple practitioners and we have immunocompromised patients that come in for care. Please be conscientious. If you and your family/roommates are all healthy, you may remove your mask once you are in the treatment room. If you are living with someone who is sick, I kindly ask that you keep your mask on throughout the treatment.

Please bring to your FIRST appointment: Any western medical diagnoses, blood work, written reports of imaging (X-ray or MRI) and a current list of prescription medications.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations and re-scheduled sessions will be subject to a full charge if NOT RECEIVED AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE. If you are late for a session, you may lose some of that session time. Patients who are more than 30 minutes late for their appointment, will not be seen. Late patients will be charged the full fee regardless of the length of visit. If you are canceling, please call the office at 617-533-3610.
